This closely resembles a high-priced vaseline with essential oil for fragrance. I literally cannot squeeze it out of the tube without using both hands and it takes a long time to “soak” into the skin, leaving a sticky residue. Yes, you can warm it and it works a long time for areas requiring detailed work. But the person doesn't like how their skin feels afterwards and requires a showering (tested on three people). I am never buying this again but will empty the tubes and refill them with my favorite organic massage products.

Slow your roll is the perfect lotion for those who give a relaxation based massage but still want a bit of traction on the tissue. A little goes a long way - especially if you want a bit of grip. But still smooth enough for those long glides. Bonus: get it in Snore (lavender) for ultimate relaxation vibes!

This stuff is A M A Z I N G ! ! ! The lavender is nice, although I feel like it's a tad bit overpowering for me personally. But it is a nice real lavender in a world full of fake lavender scents. The texture, though is absolutely amazing. I love that it has enough grip to make my job easier for getting deep into the tissues but it doesn't feel so dry that I feel like I'm going to pull the skin off my client. üòÇ I don't understand the sorcery of how it works, but I do appreciate it and I absolutely hate using lotion and gel after trying this. I ordered Shea My Name, which is the unscented version of this and I can't imagine using anything else - at least on purpose and of my own free will. If you like giving deep tissue massage, do yourself a favor - cut your effort by using this massage emulsion in any scent you like (or unscented!) and you will be in love as much as I am!
