When A Client Doesn't Actually Want To Heal

In bodywork, recognizing when a client is stuck in a pain pattern - because they don’t know what they don’t know - is crucial to understand in order to work effectively. And sometimes what they don’t know, is that they are stuck and they don’t want to get unstuck. Because staying comfortable with the life they are currently inhabiting takes priority. Even if it means staying in pain. The question is - what do we do with that information?
